Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of Moroccan House of Representatives discuss bilateral ties

Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), met with Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Morocco, on the sidelines of the 11th Association of Senates, Shoora and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab World Conference, held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways of strengthening their bilateral cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual concern and highlighted the importance of boosting the bilateral parliamentary ties between the two friendly countries.

Ghobash highlighted the deep-rooted relations between the UAE and Morocco, noting that the two countries share similar views and stances in many regional and international events, and commended Morocco’s experiences and achievements in many areas.

Alami welcomed Ghobash and the FNC delegation and appreciated their visit, which will help reinforce the relations between the two parliaments.

He also highlighted the historic and cultural ties between Morocco and the UAE, affirming Morocco’s support for the UAE and all actions it deems necessary to protect its land and people.
