A 24-year-old rookie police officer, Zachary Lockwood, is facing criminal charges following a tragic incident in which he allegedly struck and killed Reverend Tommie Jackson, 69, while responding to a non-urgent callout in Connecticut.
The collision occurred in July 2023, prompting Lockwood’s arrest on charges of misconduct with a motor vehicle.
