Sometimes, the best surprises come in the smallest packages—and Coronation Street actress Rebecca Ryan just shared the sweetest one of all.
Over the weekend, the 33-year-old star revealed that she and husband Dan Acraman have officially welcomed their second baby girl, and she did it with the most adorable photo on Instagram.
Rebecca, who played Lydia Chambers on Corrie from 2021 to 2022, posted a snapshot of her newborn daughter peacefully lying on a soft pink blanket, dressed in a cozy beige baby grow.
Alongside the image, she introduced her newest arrival with a heartfelt caption:
“Introducing the newest member of my little girl gang, the adorable Oriana.”
Big Brother Energy from Her Little Brother
Rebecca’s joy is clearly infectious. Her brother, actor Jack James Ryan—who Corrie fans will remember as Jacob Hay—jumped on social media too, sharing a proud uncle moment.
He was pictured holding Oriana next to his niece, Aurora, Rebecca’s first daughter born in April 2023.
The snap gave fans all the warm feels as he gushed over being an uncle again.
Jack shared, “Can’t wait to meet my new best mate,” showing that the Ryan family bond is stronger than ever.
Baby No. 2 Was Already a Fan Favorite Before Arrival
Rebecca first shared her pregnancy news back in January, and she did it with her signature cheeky sense of humor.
Posting a series of stunning photos highlighting her baby bump, she joked, “Sleep’s overrated anyway, here comes baby No. 2,” along with a heart emoji.
Naturally, the congratulations came pouring in. Fellow celebrities, friends, and fans all joined in to send their love.
Glamour model Rhian Sugden was one of the first to react, writing, “Here she issssss!” followed by a trail of heart-eyes emojis.
One fan summed it up perfectly with: “Awhhh amazing, congratulations to you all!”
Welcoming Oriana After Aurora
Rebecca and Dan have had quite the parenting journey over the past two years.
The couple, who tied the knot in September 2022, became first-time parents in April 2023 when they welcomed their daughter Aurora.
At the time, she posted a sweet image of the newborn snuggled up in a white blanket and striped onesie with the caption:
“Welcome to the world my beautiful baby girl Aurora.”
Just like this time around, messages of love and support flooded in from co-stars and fans alike, proving how cherished Rebecca is both on and off screen.
From Shameless to Supermum
While many people got to know Rebecca from her earlier role in Channel 4’s Shameless, it’s her time on Coronation Street that made her a household name.
And now, she’s taken on her most important role yet—being mum to two little girls.
With Oriana’s arrival, it looks like Rebecca’s “girl gang” is growing strong—and we couldn’t be happier for her.
