The company plans to utilize this capital infusion for the establishment of a new production plant in Poland, marking a significant stride in its commitment to scaling up sustainable protein production.

Currently in the exploratory phase, Protix is actively evaluating various locations in Poland for its upcoming production facility.

Protix’s Sustainable Protein for Animal Feed and Pet Food

Protix specializes in the production of sustainable proteins utilized in the formulation of animal feed and pet food. These proteins, along with lipids, serve as high-quality ingredients, meeting the nutritional needs of animals.

Since its inception in 2009, Protix has pioneered scalable technology that facilitates resource-efficient production and optimization of the supply chain.

The company is dedicated to minimizing environmental impact through the reduction and recycling of residues and waste.

Notably, Protix achieved a significant milestone with the commencement of insect ingredient production at its fully operational industrial-scale plant in The Netherlands in 2019.
