He first took an aerial tour of the vast rainforest before walking through a section of it at the Museu da Amazônia in Manaus, Brazil.
Accompanied by his daughter, Ashley, and granddaughter, Natalie, Biden took in the sights of this crucial ecosystem.
During the visit, Biden delivered brief remarks, calling for global action to protect the rainforest, which he referred to as the Earth’s “lungs.”
He also took a jab at President-elect Donald Trump, asserting that “nobody can reverse” the progress he has made on environmental issues.

Following his speech, Biden walked off the podium and began walking down a path, leading many online to speculate that he had become disoriented.

After returning to the airport, he once again ignored questions, including one asking, “Why are you hiding from the press, sir?”
