Oti Mabuse has shared the exciting news of her pregnancy with her husband Marius Iepure. The former Strictly Come Dancing professional, 33, made the announcement live on her ITV show, Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show, during which she was joined by her husband, a Romanian dancer, 40. Their surprise baby news was revealed towards the end of the episode, surprising both viewers and guests Marisha Wallace and Chizzy Akudolu. Embracing each other, Oti and Marius revealed their pregnancy, expressing their joy and anticipation for the new addition to their family.
Oti, who had been ill recently, confirmed her return to health and readiness for the upcoming journey of parenthood. She shared delightful snapshots on Instagram, where she is seen cradling her baby bump alongside Marius. In her accompanying caption, she opened up about the mixture of excitement and fear, highlighting their journey and the upcoming expansion of their family. The due date seems to be hinted at, and Oti playfully suggests that Christmas will become more vibrant with the arrival of their baby.
Oti and Marius’s relationship started in Germany during a dance trial, leading to their partnership in various dance competitions. They got engaged in 2014 and married the same year. Marius, although not a part of Strictly, has appeared on television through the German show Let’s Dance. Oti expressed her gratitude for his support and sacrifice in moving to England to be with her as she pursued her career.
Oti left Strictly Come Dancing in 2021 after winning the Glitterball trophy in consecutive years. She talked about her departure, emphasizing the relief from the dietary restrictions and pressures she experienced while on the show. Despite the gamble of leaving a show that had rarely been done before by female Strictly professionals, Oti has no regrets and cherishes the new opportunities she has gained.Share on Facebook «||» Share on Twitter «||» Share on Reddit «||» Share on LinkedIn
