Osun PDP Chairman Declares War on Factional Members, Orders Attack on ‘Atunto’ Movement Led by Dotun Babayemi

Order for Attack on Factional Group

In a heated development within the Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chairman Sunday Bisi has publicly announced his intention to wage war against the factional members led by Dotun Babayemi, a former governorship aspirant of the party.

The announcement was made during a gathering at Awo in Egbedore Local Government Area, with prominent party members, including federal constituency representative Bamidele Salam, in attendance.

During his address, Chairman Sunday Bisi issued a strong directive for an attack on the faction led by Dotun Babayemi, known as ‘Atunto’.

The faction had recently launched a movement registered as a cooperative society named ‘Atunto’. Bisi, however, declared the faction suspended and urged party members to unleash terror on them.

Allegations of Collaboration with APC

Bisi accused the ‘Atunto’ faction of receiving funds from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and labeled its members as agents of the rival party who took the PDP matter to the Supreme Court.

He asserted that even if the case had favored them, they wouldn’t have benefitted. Bisi made it clear that these individuals are no longer considered members of the PDP and stand expelled.

Public Declaration of War

Expressing his resolve, Bisi emphasized his identity as an Ijesa man known for resilience in times of conflict.

He declared a public war against the ‘Atunto’ group in the Ijesa land, asserting that their presence would not be tolerated.

Bisi boldly stated that he would personally lead the war against the faction and ensure their complete defeat.
