Tinubu’s Bold Step Towards National Healing
The National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, expressed appreciation for Tinubu’s appointment in a statement released on Tuesday.
Nnabuike highlighted that Tinubu had taken a bold step towards national healing, fulfilling his promises to the citizens.
Contrasting Tinubu’s Actions with Buhari’s Approach
The Igbo group praised Tinubu for not disregarding their pleas, unlike his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.
Nnabuike pointed out that during Buhari’s eight-year administration, their concerns of having no Igbo representation in the top security echelon were ignored, resulting in the subjugation of the Igbo community.
A Testimony to Tinubu’s Desire for National Reunification
Nnabuike emphasized that the appointment of Ogalla from Enugu State serves as a clear testament to Tinubu’s commitment to reuniting the country.
The previous administration left behind a highly fragmented nation, but Tinubu’s actions have instilled hope in Nigerians for a brighter future.
Positive Developments and Promotions for Igbo Sons
Nnabuike also acknowledged the recent promotion of Frank Mba, another proud Igbo son, from AIG to DIG of police.
These positive developments reflect Tinubu’s efforts to address past injustices and ensure a more inclusive leadership.
