Off-duty security operative assaults LASTMA official who apprehended him for driving on BRT lane

A security operative was filmed assaulting an officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). The LASTMA official stopped the security operative, who was dressed in mufti, for driving on the BRT lane and tried to seize his car.

However, the security operative put up a fight as the LASTMA officer tried to take his car to the LASTMA office.

In a video shared online, the security operative, said to be a police officer, is seen assaulting the LASTMA official and trying to put handcuffs on him.
