A release signed by the president of the group, Iyom Josephine Anenih said they followed his public life and believed that he would, on being inaugurated, bring to the state the community, national and global excellence he has been associated with.
It said they believed that as his name, SOLUDO implies, his leadership will herald complete peace in Anambra state and indeed the South East of Nigeria.
The release said as women, the recent violence in the state and indeed the South East had left them crying for peace which is a precursor to development, adding that as a group whose motor is “Partnering for Development”, they believed that given his pedigree, he understand the value of peace to development.
It implored him to heal the pre-election ‘wounds’ by extending a hand of fellowship to all individuals and groups so that Anambra can live out its promises as the beacon of excellence, East of the Niger.
According to the release, the women equally believed that as nwa afo Igbo who has held several social, academic and corporate leadership positions, he understands the value of Nkata, calling on him to make nkata his mantra as he steps into the leadership of Anambra state.
