Instead, they confirmed her achievement with a recorded time of 93 hours 11 minutes.
Hilda Baci’s Four-Day Cooking Marathon
The official statement from the Guinness World Records revealed that Hilda Effiong Bassey, known as Hilda Baci, began her cooking marathon on Thursday, May 11, and concluded it on Monday, May 15.
Throughout the four-day period, she cooked over 100 pots of food.
Deduction of Time and Mistaken Rest Break
Although Hilda aimed to set a record of 100 hours, her final total was adjusted due to the deduction of almost seven hours.
This deduction was made because she mistakenly included extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early in the attempt.
