Nicole Kidman recently shared a sweet and unique gesture from her husband, Keith Urban.
The 57-year-old actress revealed that Keith has a “Babygirl” tattooed on the back of his neck as a tribute to her.
The Oscar-winning actress gushed about the permanent ink during an interview with W Magazine, saying, “He actually has ‘Babygirl’ tattooed on the back of his neck!”
Rarely Seen Ink
Keith’s tattoo, a rare sight in public, is mostly hidden due to his signature hairstyle—his curly mullet.
Nicole jokingly added that Keith is not allowed to call anyone else “Babygirl,” further emphasizing the special nature of the nickname in their relationship.
“Now, because of the film, it’s taken on a different meaning,” Nicole noted.
“So he’s like, ‘No, I still have total rights over Babygirl!'”
Nicole’s Role in Babygirl
Nicole’s role as a high-powered CEO named Romy in the upcoming erotic thriller Babygirl adds a layer of significance to the tattoo.
In the film, she engages in an affair with a young intern, played by Harris Dickinson.
The film, directed by Halina Reijn, is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 25 and will release in the UK on January 10.
Nicole jokingly added, “I don’t know if Halina knows about Keith’s tattoo, but it’s all part of this sprinkling of fairy dust that happens!”
A Long-Lasting Relationship
Nicole and Keith have been married for 18 years, after meeting at G’Day LA in 2005.
They are proud parents to two daughters—16-year-old Sunday Rose and 13-year-old Faith Margaret.
Urban has credited Nicole for playing a major role in helping him overcome his struggles with addiction.
Shortly after their 2006 wedding in Sydney, Keith sought help at the Betty Ford Center.
The couple owns several properties, including homes in Nashville and Beverly Hills, an apartment in Manhattan, two Sydney apartments, and a farmhouse in Sutton Forest.
