Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, today visited several local and foreign pavilions at the 31st edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
He stressed that the fair underscores the UAE’s regional and international stature. “The significant international presence at the fair affirms the keenness of the intellectuals, writers, publishers and talents from around the world to participate in the prominent event,” he added, highlighting its role in motivating young generations to read and increase their knowledge.
He commended the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre for organising the event.
More than 1,130 exhibitors representing local, regional and international publishing houses from 80 countries are participating in the fair.
