Musa Khawula, the infamous celebrity blogger known for stirring up controversy, has once again taken to social media, this time leaving many wondering if he’s posting from behind bars.
Despite his ongoing legal issues and recent arrest, Khawula has been trending on the platform X (formerly Twitter), continuing to post content that raises eyebrows and concerns.
Musa’s Unexpected Return to X
It all started when Musa made his first post in weeks after his recent court appearance at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.
The controversial blogger, facing serious charges including defamation and attempted murder, last posted on January 8 before his arrest in Dundee.
Since then, a string of posts has appeared on his X account, leaving people puzzled: is he still managing his account from jail, or is someone else behind the posts?
Who’s Running Musa’s X Account?
There have been speculations about who could be posting on Musa Khawula’s behalf while he’s incarcerated.
Some rumors point to his close associates, with Inno Morolong being previously accused of posting from his account. However, she has dismissed these allegations, leaving the mystery unsolved.
The situation has prompted a response from both Khawula’s legal team and the Department of Correctional Services. Singabakho Nxumalo, a spokesman for the Correctional Services, confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine whether Khawula is indeed posting from prison.
Nxumalo stated, “I have asked around. We will have to check where the person is detained and whether he has access to a cellphone or not.”
Khawula’s Legal Team Denies Involvement
On the other hand, Khawula’s legal team has distanced themselves from the matter, making it clear that they have no knowledge of the posts or any involvement.
“He is behind bars. I don’t know anything about that.
The last time I saw him was when he appeared in court,” said his legal representative.
Facing Multiple Legal Issues
Musa Khawula’s legal troubles are far from over. He’s currently facing a string of charges, including crimen injuria, contempt of court, and violations of the Cybercrimes Act.
Things took an unexpected turn in January when he abandoned his bail application at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court, following his arrest after failing to appear in court and remove defamatory posts about former Miss South Africa, Tamaryn Green, and her husband, Ze Nxumalo.
Last year, Khawula shocked many when he made claims that Ze had been cheating on his pregnant wife.
In addition to these charges, Musa is also dealing with a separate attempted murder charge related to a 2021 incident when he allegedly ran over a man and fled the scene.
