Man left fighting for life following Morningside shooting incident

Paramedics from Emer-G-Med and Netcare 911 arrived on the scene of a shooting in the Morningside neighborhood of Durban’s Hendry Road.

According to reports from the scene, a man in his 60s who had been shot in the head was discovered in severe condition.

Before being transported by ambulance to a neighboring hospital for additional care, the man was treated and stabilized on the scene by Emergency Care Practitioners.

Uncertain details about the occurrence and the things that happened before it will be the focus of an inquiry by the South African Police Services.
