Love Island alum Abi Moores has shown her support for her former flame, Scott van-der-Sluis, following the news of his third appearance on the reality dating show.
The hunky footballer has been confirmed as a cast member for Love Island Games, representing the UK.
Notably, he previously appeared on the tenth series of the ITV2 dating show and, just weeks later, flew to the United States to star in Love Island USA.
Despite these attempts, Scott failed to find romance in both regions, and he now hopes that participating in a special international edition of the show may help him find true love.
Abi Cheers on Scott’s Endeavor
Speaking about Scott’s decision to rejoin Love Island, Abi expressed her encouragement at Thorpe Park’s VIP Fright Night launch event.
She told the Daily Star, “Go Scott! Maybe he’ll find his true love. Who knows? They always say third time lucky.”
Abi’s Reflections on Her Love Island Experience
Abi, who coupled up with Scott during her time in the Love Island villa, shared her thoughts on the show and her pursuit of love.
She mentioned that she appreciated the opportunity to make friends while searching for a romantic connection.
However, she acknowledged that when there’s no spark, the experience can be quite challenging.
Abi went on to express her initial hopes of leaving the show with a boyfriend but admitted she exited the villa single.
She emphasized the importance of being mentally prepared for the possibility of not finding a partner, a realization that hit her hard as she was deeply eager for a relationship.
Abi’s Other Love Island Connection
During her Love Island journey, Abi also coupled up with Mitch Taylor, who later formed a connection with bombshell Ella Barnes.
Abi clarified that she now considers Mitch a friend, explaining that their relationship faced challenges once he coupled up with Ella and they had limited contact outside the villa.
