Lauryn Goodman Accuses Kyle Walker of Unequal Treatment for Daughter Kinara Compared to His Other Children in Ongoing High Court Battle in London

In the ongoing legal battle between Lauryn Goodman and footballer Kyle Walker, there’s a heated discussion about how Walker’s children are being treated.

Lauryn Goodman’s lawyer, Charlotte Conner, has raised concerns that Walker is treating his daughter Kinara differently compared to his sons.

Goodman, who is 33, is fighting to ensure that her one-year-old daughter Kinara receives the same financial support as Walker’s older son Kairo and his four half-brothers from his marriage to Annie Kilner.

Conner, who represents Goodman in this High Court case, emphasized that Goodman is seeking fair treatment for Kinara, aiming for her financial provisions to be on par with those provided for Walker’s other children.

The case has drawn public attention, particularly for Goodman’s requests, which included an £31,000 Astro Turf and £500 per month for hot tub maintenance.

Goodman was mocked for these demands, especially for the Astro Turf, which she believes will help Kinara pursue her football dreams in the future. Supporters of Goodman argue that such luxuries are already enjoyed by Kinara’s older brothers, who are also passionate about football.

The Focus on Kinara

Conner argued that the case should center on Kinara’s well-being and financial equality rather than the criticisms of Goodman’s demands.

She highlighted the irony that, despite the case’s transparency, Walker has avoided publicly acknowledging his daughter.

Conner believes that the scrutiny should be on whether the financial support requested is reasonable and beneficial for the child, rather than the mother’s intentions.

A Comparison of Court Proceedings

Conner also criticized the court for lifting reporting restrictions for Kinara’s case but not for Kairo’s case, which remains under family court restrictions despite never being publicly reported.

She pointed out that while there has been media coverage of the case, details about the children and financial disputes have generally remained private, contrasting the treatment of Kinara with that of her half-brother Kairo.

Judicial Opinions and Discrepancies

In the courtroom, Goodman was labeled as “often difficult, unreasonable, and demanding,” and her credibility was questioned.

In contrast, Walker was praised by the judge as a “perfectly straightforward witness” who answered questions in a calm and thoughtful manner.

Goodman feels she was not given a fair hearing, partly because Walker appeared in court right after England’s successful Euro finals.
