DJ Big N Raises Alarm on Kidnapping Influx

Mavin Records’ DJ Big N, also known as Nonso Temisan Ajufo, has expressed concern over the rising threat of kidnappers infiltrating Lagos State.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the music star emphasized the urgent need for residents to be vigilant and take proactive measures to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Urgent Warning for Residents

DJ Big N didn’t mince words as he urged residents to be exceptionally cautious, particularly while driving or walking in Lagos.

He went on to declare, with emphasis, that kidnappers are now present in the state. His plea included a practical suggestion for people to walk in groups and secure their cars by ensuring that doors are securely pinned down.

Abia State Police Discovery of Kidnappers’ Tunnel

In related news, the Abia State Police made a significant discovery as they uncovered a tunnel believed to be used by kidnappers to transport victims into the bush.

Commissioner of Police, CP Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, disclosed this development over the weekend, shedding light on the tunnel’s location in the Lekwesi community, Umunneochi LGA.

Operation Crush Unveils Schools Used by Kidnappers

Commissioner Onwuemelie revealed that a team from “Operation Crush” and Abia State government officials, led by him, visited two schools taken over by kidnappers in Lekwesi community, Umunneochi LGA.

Noting the dilapidated state of the schools, he emphasized that their reconstruction is crucial to thwart criminals from using them as hideouts.

Vast Area Raises Concealment Concerns

Addressing the vastness of the area, CP Onwuemelie pointed out that the bushy terrain features culverts that could potentially be utilized by criminals to conceal victims.

The discovery underscores the multifaceted challenges faced by law enforcement in preventing and combating kidnappings in such expansive regions.
