Katie Price has opened up about one of the most talked-about chapters of her personal life, revisiting her long-running fallout with Victoria Beckham while reflecting on the breakdown of her relationship with singer Dane Bowers.
The former glamour model shares the emotional memories in her upcoming Sky documentary series, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, produced by Louis Theroux’s Mindhouse.
The four-part series premieres on July 8 and promises an unfiltered look at her rise to fame, personal struggles and high-profile relationships.
Promotional Tour Sparked Relationship Tensions
Price claims the turning point in her romance with Bowers came in 2000 when he joined Victoria Beckham on an extensive promotional campaign for their hit collaboration Out of Your Mind with True Steppers.
According to Price, their relationship shifted dramatically during that period.
She recalled feeling as though she had suddenly become insignificant while Beckham became the centre of attention, saying she believed Bowers’ attitude towards her changed once he began working closely with the former Spice Girl.
Reflecting on the experience, Price described feeling hurt and confused as she watched the relationship deteriorate.
Feeling Shut Out
One of the moments that stayed with Price was being unable to accompany Bowers on the promotional tour, something she said had never happened before.
She explained that she had always been welcome to travel with him during previous work commitments but was unexpectedly told she could not join him on this occasion.
The decision left her questioning why she had suddenly been excluded.
Price admitted she was deeply upset at the time, believing the man she knew had changed and struggling to understand what had caused the sudden distance between them.
Calendar Decision Became Final Breaking Point
The documentary also revisits another major source of conflict between the couple.
Price revealed that Bowers had become increasingly uncomfortable with her glamour modelling career, leading her to tone down some of her photoshoots.
However, when she was offered the opportunity to release her own calendar, she felt it was too important a career milestone to refuse.
She explained that creating a glamorous calendar aligned with her public image and professional ambitions, despite knowing it would likely create further tension in the relationship.
Dane Bowers Explains Why He Walked Away
Bowers also appears in the documentary and offers his own perspective on the split.
He says he warned Price that going ahead with the calendar would end their relationship, believing she would ultimately choose not to proceed.
When the images were eventually published, he decided to end the romance, saying he followed through on the ultimatum he had given her.
Their relationship, which had lasted around two years, ended shortly afterwards.

The series explores far more than Price’s relationship with Bowers, tracing her transformation into her famous alter ego, Jordan, and examining the many highs and lows of her career and personal life.
According to reports, Price gave filmmakers complete freedom to speak with anyone they wished and did not retain editorial control over the finished programme, allowing contributors to share their own perspectives.
Dubai Trip Keeps Katie in the Spotlight
Away from the documentary, Price has continued making headlines during a recent visit to Dubai with her husband, Lee Andrews.
The couple, who married in January just days after meeting, shared affectionate moments while horse riding in the desert.
Andrews, who recently completed a prison sentence for fraud, has reportedly been unable to travel to the UK because of an alleged flight ban.
Fresh Animal Welfare Criticism
Price has also faced renewed criticism from animal rights campaigners after revealing she had purchased a £2,000 pomsky puppy while in Dubai.
The announcement prompted criticism from PETA, particularly given previous controversy surrounding the deaths of several of Price’s pets.
The latest purchase was revealed only days after she disclosed that two of her cats had gone missing, adding further attention to her history of pet ownership.
