The remix of their mega-hit featuring Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy has been nominated for an award at the Swiss Music Awards.

Besides topping charts in South Africa, Master KG’s Jerusalema was picked up by radio stations across the globe. The upbeat track also sparked a dance challenge that kept the world grooving during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jerusalema was certified three times platinum in Italy and diamond in France.

The original music video has achieved 491 million views on YouTube while the remix featuring Burna Boy has achieved 28 million views.

The Swiss Music Awards are regarded as Switzerland’s biggest music awards ceremony.  The first-ever awards kicked off in 2008 and have been awarding the country’s biggest musicians since.
