Kemi Lala Akindoju has spoken out against a Nigerian university’s underwear regulation. For female students, the management of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, has proclaimed a “no bra, no admittance, no pants, no access” policy.

Female pupils are seen standing outside the school gate after being denied admittance because they are not wearing underwear, according to a video posted online last week. Security guards were stationed at the school entrance to inspect children who did not follow the dress code.

Actress Lala Akindoju lambasted the policy as “stupid” in response.

She then asked if the “madness” is only targeted at female students or if they are also checking male students to see if they are wearing underwear.
