Ime Bishop Umoh, also known as Okon Lagos, is a Nigerian actor and comedian who has set a requirement for buying his vote.

Okon Lagos said he would sell his vote to cover a single term of four years for a daily fee of $1,000 in a video he posted to sarcastically address vote buying.

The actor claimed that he would multiply the $1000 by the 1460 days that make up a four-year period.

According to the calculations, the cost of the comedian’s vote would be $1,460,000, which would translate to N730 million at his discounted exchange rate of N500.

Okon emphasized that he wouldn’t accept anything less than this since he is aware that, if a politician buys his vote, as they frequently do, he won’t hear from him again until the following election cycle.
