Labour Party Aspirant’s Visit to Oba of Benin

Kenneth Imansuangbon, the governorship aspirant representing the Labour Party (LP) in the upcoming election, made a significant visit to the palace of the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, located in Benin, the capital of the state.

Seeking Royal Blessings and Support

The purpose of Imansuangbon’s visit to the palace on Wednesday was to request the royal blessings and support of the revered Oba for his gubernatorial aspirations.

His arrival at the palace courtyard was a festive occasion, with various support groups and cultural dancers accompanying the aspirant.

Oba Ewuare II’s Blessings and Wishes

Upon Imansuangbon’s arrival at the palace, Oba Ewuare II received the LP aspirant warmly and offered prayers for a smooth and successful campaign leading up to the 2024 election.

The monarch expressed his impartiality and commitment to praying for politicians who seek elective positions while requesting his blessings and support.

Imansuangbon’s Promise of Just Governance

In response, Kenneth Imansuangbon conveyed his respect for the king and explained the purpose of his visit.

He emphasized the importance of seeking the blessings of his “father” as he embarked on his journey toward the Government House.

Imansuangbon vowed to bring purpose and effective governance to Edo if elected.
