Helen Flanagan drops the price of her luxury six-bedroom mansion near Bolton as financial struggles force her to rethink her lifestyle

Helen Flanagan, once living it up in the spotlight thanks to her soap stardom and TV appearances, is now making some big life changes—and not entirely by choice.

Less than a month after listing her lavish mansion near Bolton, the former Coronation Street star has had to make a major cut to the asking price due to ongoing financial pressures.

Luxury Mansion Gets a Price Cut

Originally listed at £1.5 million, Helen’s spacious six-bedroom home has now dropped in price by a massive 20%, bringing the new asking figure down to £1,195,000.

The home, which she once shared with ex-footballer Scott Sinclair, spans three floors and covers over 5,000 square feet.

Helen and Scott bought the property for £840,000 back in June 2021, so even with the reduced price, there’s still a chance she could walk away with a profit—depending on the mortgage situation.

According to the listing, the home includes two bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms and lounge areas.

One of them even serves as a walk-in fashion showroom filled with designer clothes and bags.

Financial Struggles Behind the Sale

The decision to sell wasn’t just about moving on. Helen has been open about facing financial difficulties in recent months.

In fact, earlier this year during a court appearance for a speeding offence, she revealed that she was “really struggling financially” despite previously earning over £1 million through TV and modelling work.

The mum-of-three told the court that she was essentially living paycheck to paycheck, with just enough money to cover her taxes, mortgage, and daily expenses like “a bit of tea.”

Even so, the judge handed her a six-month driving ban—despite her plea that she needed her car for the school run.

Ibiza Getaway and Breakup Drama

Despite these money woes, Helen recently took a breather—and partied hard—in Ibiza.

She was spotted at O Beach Ibiza with celebrity pals Wayne Lineker and Dean Gaffney.

Posting to Instagram, she admitted to her followers that the hangover hit hard: “I am really hungover.

I am like a lizard,” she joked. “I literally got in at six in the morning.”

All this came shortly after her split from her most recent boyfriend, Robbie Talbot.

Although she had previously talked about wanting more children with him, friends now say Helen decided to call it quits, telling Robbie the relationship “wasn’t working” and that she needed space to focus on her kids and new acting opportunities.

A Fresh Start… But No Plan Yet

Helen first opened up about selling the house during an episode of The Declutter Hub podcast, explaining that she’s always been used to moving around thanks to Scott’s football career.

Even though the house holds sentimental value—she poured her savings into decorating and renovating it—Helen admitted that it’s just too big to manage alone.

“It’s eight bedrooms, which is hard to keep on top of,” she said.

“It makes me sad because I’ve put so much effort into it. But it will be more manageable when we move.”

The tricky part? She still doesn’t know where she’s headed next.

Helen’s dream has always been to live in London, especially for work reasons—but she’s worried about how expensive it would be.

“I do want a change,” she admitted. “It’s been a heavy few years, so it’ll be a lovely fresh start.”

Co-Parenting and Juggling It All

Helen currently co-parents her three children—Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three—with ex-partner Scott Sinclair.

Although her now-ex Robbie lives in Liverpool with his own kids, Helen seems content being on her own for now and focusing on what’s ahead.

Whether it’s downsizing her home or mapping out her next move, one thing’s clear: Helen is stepping into a new chapter, one filled with change, resilience, and perhaps a little more reality than reality TV ever showed.
