Georgia Fast-Food Teenage Worker Suffers Trauma After Man Throws Bleach in Her Face at Burger King Drive-Thru in Union City

A disturbing incident has left a 17-year-old fast-food worker reeling after a man allegedly threw bleach in her face at a Burger King drive-thru in Georgia.

The Unexpected Assault

Andrea Alexander was working her night shift when she became the target of an unprovoked attack.

On Tuesday, while serving customers at the drive-thru on Jonesboro Road in Union City, she was hit with a cup of liquid by an unidentified man who then drove off without paying or collecting his food.

Initial Confusion and Pain

“At first, I thought it was just water because it felt so cold,” Andrea told ANF.

“But then I took a breath and my eyes and nose started burning immediately.”

Struggling to open her eyes, she could only hear the man driving away, leaving her alone and in pain.

The Aftermath and Concerns

The encounter had been normal up to that point—there were no signs of hostility or issues with the man’s order.

Andrea’s mother, La Toya Alexander, expressed her frustration with the fast-food restaurant’s response, claiming they failed to follow emergency procedures.

“They didn’t call the police or perform any first aid,” she said.

Emotional Impact and Future Plans

Although Andrea didn’t sustain serious physical injuries, the emotional toll has been significant.

“The first night, I couldn’t sleep.

Every time I close my eyes, I see someone throwing bleach at me,” she shared.

Because of the trauma, she has decided not to return to work.

Growing Trend of Customer Violence

This incident is part of a troubling trend where fast-food workers face increasing violence from customers.

Videos of such attacks have surfaced on social media, and studies show that many workers endure verbal abuse or physical threats regularly.

In one recent case, a Missouri woman used her car to run down a Jack in the Box manager over a minor complaint.

A Call for Vigilance and Support

Andrea is now urging other fast-food workers to remain vigilant on the job and to reach out if they’ve experienced similar incidents.

“I hope anyone who has faced something like this will contact me so I can seek justice,” she said.
