England sticks to their pace attack as they aim to keep their T20 series hopes alive against India in the third match in Chennai

After losing the first two games of their T20 series against India, England is sticking to their guns.

They’re backing their pace attack to get them back into the series, naming an unchanged team for the third match tomorrow, which has now become a must-win game.

India’s Spin Success

India’s victory in the first two matches has largely been thanks to their spin bowlers.

In the second match in Chennai, India used five spinners and successfully went 2-0 up in the series.

England, however, is determined to play to their strengths, with coach Brendon McCullum keeping his focus on the pace bowlers who have been central to their strategy.

England’s Fast-Bowling Lineup

England’s pace attack is a formidable one.

The team will rely on the speed of Mark Wood and Jofra Archer, both capable of hitting 90 miles per hour.

Alongside them are seam-bowling all-rounders Brydon Carse and Jamie Overton.

In the spin department, Adil Rashid is the only frontline spinner.

Despite India’s success with their spinners, England is sticking to their quicks in the hope of making a comeback.

Team Changes and Key Decisions

Jacob Bethell, who missed the last game due to illness, is fit again.

However, Jamie Smith has kept his place in the team at No 6, meaning that England’s only other bowling option, besides Rashid, will come from Liam Livingstone’s mix of leg and off-spin.

England has made it clear that they’re focused on winning this game to keep their hopes alive in the series.

England’s Lineup for the Third Match

The England XI for tomorrow’s crucial match against India will feature: Salt (wk), Duckett, Buttler (c), Brook, Livingstone, Smith, Overton, Carse, Archer, Rashid, and Wood.

With their backs against the wall, England knows they must win this game to stay in the series.

They face an Indian side that has won 35 of their last 39 completed matches, making tomorrow’s clash even more crucial for England’s survival in the series.
