Drake Calls Out Slow Security Guard During Austin Concert
During his recent Austin concert as part of the “It’s All a Blur Tour,” Drake publicly criticized a security guard for not responding swiftly when a fan managed to storm the stage at the Moody Center on Monday. In a video captured during the incident, Drake was addressing the audience when an enthusiastic fan approached him, wanting to greet the artist. Drake gently pushed the fan aside, shook hands with him, and then questioned the adequacy of security provided by the venue.
As the fan was led to the edge of the stage, Drake inquired about the security, asking, “Y’all not doing security out here? You not doing security?” Eventually, a security guard intervened to handle the situation, but Drake expressed his frustration, saying, “Boy, you slow as [expletive].”
Upcoming Album Release and Tour
Drake, earlier in the week, announced that he will release the first track from his upcoming album, titled “For All the Dogs,” which is scheduled for release on September 22. This announcement comes as fans have witnessed various incidents of unruly behavior at concerts throughout the year, and Drake himself has experienced some of these disruptions.
Despite these challenges, Drake’s “It’s All a Blur Tour” is set to continue with upcoming stops in Dallas (Sept. 14-15), Houston (Sept. 17-18), Atlanta (Sept. 25-26), Miami (Sept. 28-29), and Nashville (Oct. 1-2) over the next month. The tour will conclude with back-to-back nights in his hometown of Toronto, ending in Columbus, Ohio, on October 9.
