DJ Crashes €440,000 Ferrari on German Autobahn After Testing Its Speed with Owner Sitting Beside Him

In a stunning turn of events, a DJ has crashed a €440,000 Ferrari while driving on a German autobahn, with the car’s owner sitting right next to him.

The incident, which took place on a stretch of the famous highway, has drawn attention due to the high value of the car and the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale and the DJ’s Intentions

The DJ, a 44-year-old well-known figure from Bielefeld in western Germany, had been interested in purchasing the Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

This hybrid supercar, known for its nearly 1,000 horsepower, can accelerate from 0 to 120 mph in under seven seconds, making it a thrilling vehicle to drive.

The red Ferrari, listed for €440,000 (£364,000), was the car he wanted to test on the autobahn, a road famously known for its stretches without speed limits.

Eager to see just how fast the Ferrari could go, the DJ decided to take it for a spin.

The Crash: What Went Wrong?

Unfortunately, the DJ never got to fully test the car’s limits. As he was driving on a slip road leading onto Autobahn 33, he reportedly accidentally hit the accelerator too hard, causing the car to lose control.

Without properly warmed-up tyres, the car skidded out of control and crashed into the central barriers of the motorway.

The impact was severe, leaving the Ferrari in a total wreck, and debris scattered several meters away from the scene.

No Injuries, but the Ferrari Was a Write-off

Despite the severity of the crash, both the DJ and the car’s owner walked away unscathed.

However, the same couldn’t be said for the Ferrari, which was completely written off in the accident.

Roadside services had to tow the damaged car away, and the motorway was temporarily closed for about an hour to clear the wreckage.

Ferrari’s Rarity in Germany and the Public’s Fascination

Ferraris are a rare sight in Germany, with only about 14,000 Ferrari cars in the country, and just 442 of those being the highly coveted SF90 Stradale model.

The Italian luxury car brand is a favorite among Germans, who often flock to newsstands to catch the latest stories about these stunning vehicles.

This crash follows another recent incident in November, where a 24-year-old employee at a luxury car dealership accidentally crashed a Ferrari F40 worth nearly £2.5 million into a tunnel wall near Heilbronn.
