According to court filings, the incident occurred in the Virgin Islands, where Gooding allegedly touched, groped, and fondled Jones without consent.
Jones claims that Combs facilitated the encounter between him and Gooding, and that Combs failed to intervene when the alleged assault took place.

Jones, who collaborated with Combs on music projects, initially filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of various illegal activities, including sexual assault.
