Brooklyn Beckham showed that supporting his wife can sometimes mean taking on an unexpectedly hands-on role, as he helped Nicola Peltz prepare for the cameras during a glamorous appearance at the Venice Film Festival.
The 27-year-old aspiring chef was pictured carefully smoothing his wife’s hair as the couple posed on the red carpet for a screening of It Will Happen Tonight.
His affectionate gesture came shortly after Peltz, 31, had been honored with a Rising Star award during the festival.
Brooklyn’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
At one point, he appeared to check and adjust Nicola’s hair before the couple continued posing for photographers, with his ‘Nicola’ tattoo clearly visible on his hand.

Peltz commanded attention in a dramatic cobalt-blue Balenciaga gown featuring a daring cut-out design.
She completed the sophisticated look with statement jewelry, while Brooklyn opted for a classic black tuxedo as the pair walked the red carpet together.
The couple appeared affectionate throughout the appearance.
Brooklyn placed an arm around Nicola’s waist and kissed her cheek, while she smiled during the intimate display of support.
Their appearance came during an important period for Peltz, who has been expanding her career beyond acting into producing and filmmaking.
Actress Honored With Rising Star Award
Earlier in the day, Peltz had accepted her Rising Star honor at the Kineo Awards, held as part of the Venice Film Festival celebrations.
The actress was visibly nervous as she stepped forward to accept the recognition, wearing an elegant full-length black dress and emerald and diamond drop earrings.
Brooklyn was close by as she approached the small podium at the Casa Cinema Giovani gardens, appearing to guide and support her during the ceremony.
Peltz was recognized for her work across acting, producing and filmmaking.

During her acceptance speech, Peltz admitted that she was more comfortable performing as an actress than speaking before an audience.
She thanked the festival for what she described as an immense honor and said receiving an award in Venice was something she would carry with her throughout her career.
The actress also singled out Faye Dunaway, who received a lifetime achievement award during the same ceremony, describing the veteran performer as an inspiration and praising the experience of working alongside her.
But much of Peltz’s emotional tribute was reserved for her family.
She thanked her parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, her brothers Diesel and Brad, and Brooklyn, saying their belief in her had helped her pursue her ambitions.
Her family was present for the ceremony, with her billionaire businessman father among those watching from the audience despite temperatures reaching around 30C (86F).
A Chaotic Start to the Ceremony
There was an unusual delay before Peltz eventually took to the stage to accept her award.
Her name was reportedly announced several times, prompting one presenter to ask where the star was.
It was later understood that Peltz had wanted Dunaway to be present before accepting her own award, adding to the confusion surrounding the ceremony.
Dunaway subsequently accepted her lifetime achievement honor and reflected on the advice that had stayed with her throughout her career, quoting Shakespeare’s famous words about remaining true to oneself.
She also spoke warmly about Venice, saying there was no city quite like it.
Peltz’s Career Has Expanded Beyond Acting
Peltz began acting as a child, making her screen debut in Deck the Halls alongside Danny DeVito in 2006 when she was 11.
She later appeared in projects including The Last Airbender and Transformers: Age of Extinction.
In recent years, however, her ambitions have increasingly extended behind the camera.
She has written and produced films through Bunny Films, a production label named after her late grandmother and supported in part by her father.
Her previous film, Lola, received limited distribution and earned less than $1,000 at the box office.
Prima Becomes Her Latest Film Project
Peltz’s latest major project is Prima, an independent drama in which she plays Margo, a dedicated prima ballerina confronted with difficult decisions as changes threaten to transform her ballet company.
The film also features Dunaway, Jack Huston, Mira Sorvino and Betty Gabriel.
Luca and Alessandro Morelli, professionally known as the Morelli Brothers, directed the movie in their feature filmmaking debut.
Peltz has reportedly been working on the project since January, although an official release date has yet to be announced.
The production received additional attention following a private screening in Los Angeles in May, attended by Peltz and her family.
She later thanked supporters of the independent film, emphasizing how important their backing was to the project.
Brooklyn Defends His Wife Over Comments About Her Weight
Peltz’s preparation for Prima has also attracted public attention because of the physical demands of portraying a professional ballerina.
She underwent four months of intensive ballet training and followed a strict regimen as she prepared for the role.
Reports about her significant weight loss during the process subsequently generated concern online.
The issue resurfaced this week when Brooklyn publicly defended his wife after an Instagram follower questioned her appearance beneath one of his cooking videos.
The commenter expressed concern about Peltz’s weight and suggested that she needed to eat more.
Brooklyn responded forcefully, telling the commenter not to discuss his wife and criticizing comments about women’s bodies.
He insisted that Nicola was beautiful and described remarks about her appearance as disgraceful.
The Couple Remain United Amid Family Tensions
The Venice appearance also comes against the backdrop of continuing tensions between Brooklyn and his famous family.
Brooklyn, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has previously spoken publicly about his decision to distance himself from his family while prioritizing his marriage to Peltz.
