Sunday’s suspected vehicle collision claimed the life of Brooke Bailey’s daughter, a star of Basketball Wives.
In a touching Instagram post that included many images, Brooke, 45, paid homage to Kayla, 25, and shared a number of pictures.
“Pretty Black, aka Kayla Nicole Bailey, will always be my baby.” This is not the end. Soon, mommy will come visit you,” Brooke said on Instagram.
Unconfirmed reports said that injuries sustained in an automobile collision were Kayla’s cause of death. In the meanwhile, Brooke posted a social media story that Kayla had perished in a vehicle accident.
The reality TV actress expressed several condolences and lamented the loss of her daughter on Instagram. My beautiful child is very loved by all of you, Brooke wrote. Unreal and much-appreciated is the love and support my family receives today.
“I’m grateful. Many people’s life were impacted by Kayla. As soon as she entered the room, she made a demand for respect, affection, and attention.
If you had the good fortune to get to know her and become friends with her, she has irrevocably altered your life.
As Kayla’s Instagram stories were still active hours after she passed away, many were shocked to learn of her passing.
Damn Kayla Bailey’s Instagram stories are still live when she’s driving. Such things usually confuse me. One individual remarked, “Life is too delicate and may change in a single second.
The following was added to Brooke’s Instagram bio: “FOREVER Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2/07 – 9/25/22 #PrettyBlack.”
The reality television actress subsequently said that she had been fasting and praying in anticipation of something, but she had not expected it to be the passing of her kid.
My God! Our God is really trustworthy. For days, I had been fasting and praying. I assumed it was for another purpose. God had been preparing me for this particular time in my life. However, I wasn’t ready. I’m appreciative of the 25 years he gave me to have HIS kid. She needs to be loved, held, educated, and comforted. She was my world of bliss, Brooke said.
When Kayla’s loved ones learned of her passing, they quickly made the news public.
In a memorial post, one of Kayla’s pals said, “Truthfully I’m dumbfounded best.” I was in pieces after receiving that call this morning. The Barbie, Ms. PrettyBlack. Best, you young, lovely, wonderful spirit, I’m so, so sorry this happened to you. I adore you a lot. Mom shielded us from mishaps like these when we were kids.
I just don’t even know what to say right now, another buddy said. My dearest pal. my sibling. my companion. My whole world has changed. Last night, I had trouble simply getting to sleep since I kept thinking about you. I’m very happy that we were able to get together two weeks ago. I’ll miss your wacky a**. When you were with me, you were ALWAYS GOOD and ALWAYS SAFE.
I can’t help but weep. It was family here. Love your family and friends unconditionally. There is no word for death. While they are still here, give your folks flowers.
At the time of her passing, Kayla was a licensed hair stylist and a company owner. On social media, the stylist’s admirers shared their sorrow and recalled how beautiful she was.
“This is very tragic.” This is just unbelievable. Only 25 years old, Kayla. We are losing our young kids every day, Lord I simply don’t know what to say, one individual commented.
I remember seeing Kayla Bailey on this season of #basketballwivesla and being in awe of how lovely she was, another person said. My heart heaves to learn that she has died away since she was so young and beautiful. Man, life is too brief.
It is unknown whether viewers will get a closer look at the recent tragedy when Brooke returns to Basketball Wives for season 11 with co-stars Jackie Christie, Jennifer Williams, and Angel Brinks.
