British Man Arrested After Tragic Death of Widow in Costa del Sol

A Tragic Incident in Costa del Sol

A British man has been taken into custody after a woman tragically fell to her death from her fifth-floor residence in Costa del Sol.

The deceased was a 33-year-old widow, who had previously lost her husband in a disturbing incident at former TOWIE star Elliott Wright’s Spanish restaurant.

The widow, Romina Acuna, had described her late husband, Jose Rafael Pisani Pardo, as the love of her life.

Unfolding of the Tragedy

The incident occurred around 8.30 a.m. and was reportedly preceded by a call to emergency services hours earlier, during which the deceased woman had mentioned being assaulted.

Although she went to the hospital, she did not file a formal complaint.

The 36-year-old British man arrested in connection with her death was already known to the police, having been involved in previous domestic violence cases with other partners.

Investigation in Progress

Detectives are currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding Romina’s death.

While they are examining the possibility of foul play, they are also considering the incident as a potential suicide.

Part of their inquiry focuses on whether the arrested man was present at the property when the tragic fall occurred.

Romina and Jose’s Story

Romina Acuna and Jose Rafael Pisani Pardo had celebrated their marriage with a lavish ceremony in Las Vegas just five months before the fatal assault in which Jose succumbed to his injuries.

The incident took place at Olivia’s La Cala, Elliott Wright’s restaurant, as Jose tried to intervene in a customer altercation, leading to the head injury that eventually took his life.

Past Arrests and Incidents

The British man currently under arrest was also involved in previous legal matters.

He was detained in connection with an Irishman’s shooting in February, released on bail, and arrested once again following Jose Pisani Pardo’s death.

In a separate incident, he was arrested for possessing a firearm at a police roadblock in Marbella.

Recent Cases in Costa del Sol

The Costa del Sol has seen a series of tragic incidents involving British expatriates in recent times.

These cases have included stabbings, domestic disputes, and fatalities, raising concerns about the safety of the expat community in the region.

Authorities continue to investigate and address these cases as they arise.
