Coronation Street extra takes on The Chase

Nina, a contestant on the popular quiz show The Chase, revealed that she previously worked as an extra on Coronation Street.

She told host Bradley Walsh that she appeared on the show “loads of times”, but that they were not on the show at the same time.

Walsh starred in Coronation Street from 2004 to 2006, but some viewers were unaware of his appearance on the show.

One fan asked on Twitter: “#TheChase was brad in corrie?” Another viewer replied: “Yes – can’t remember the character though.” A third viewer provided more information, writing: “Yes, he played a Baldwin and ran the knicker factory at one point!”

Another said: “Florence has just done a madness I can’t believe my eyes.” While another penned: “It will be such a shame to lose all that money after a miraculous effort from Florence.”

With only Florence and player number two Chirs left in the final, the pair had an eye-watering £70,000 to play for. But despite Florence’s promising effort, they were beaten by the chaser with seconds to spare.
