Teen Charged with Murder in Primrose Hill Tragedy

A grim turn of events unfolded at the Primrose Hill fireworks on New Year’s Eve as 16-year-old Harry Pitman was fatally stabbed.

A fellow 16-year-old has been charged with his murder, in addition to possessing an offensive weapon. The accused will face trial at Highbury Magistrates’ Court in North London.

Authorities continue to detain two teenagers on suspicion of Pitman’s murder at a west London police station.

Lisa Ramsarran, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS London Homicide Team, authorized the Metropolitan Police to press murder charges against the unnamed 16-year-old.

Meanwhile, additional arrests have been made, with three teenagers, aged 15, 16, and 18, released on bail for further investigation.
