Ant McPartlin Shouts at Dean McCullough to Face His Fears During Chaotic Bushtucker Trial in I’m A Celebrity

Ant McPartlin didn’t hold back when addressing Dean McCullough’s performance during the latest Bushtucker Trial on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The BBC Radio 1 presenter was caught in a chaotic scene that had fans on the edge of their seats.

As Dean faced his fears in the “Jack and the Scream Stalk” challenge, Ant barked out a firm, “Face your fears!” while Dean screamed in terror.

This trial, which fans voted for him to take part in, involved retrieving gold stars from boxes filled with critters—many of which made Dean squirm in fright.

A terrified Dean squealed, “No, no, no!” as he reached into a box full of tarantulas.

Ant’s Frustration with Dean’s Efforts

This wasn’t the first time Ant showed his frustration with Dean’s efforts.

Last week, viewers witnessed the 49-year-old host struggling to mask his irritation after Dean quit a challenge involving fish guts.

Many fans felt that Dean wasn’t fully committed to the tasks, and Ant’s reactions spoke volumes.

Ant confessed on I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked that his annoyance was evident on screen, admitting, “My annoyance came across on screen and I was quite unprofessional.”

He further explained, “You get to the point where you’re like, ‘What are you doing?'”

The Tense Trial and Stern Talk

As Dean prepared for his third trial in as many days, Ant took a moment to address him with a stern message.

In the Lethal Lab challenge, which involved navigating through critter-filled areas and dealing with giant lizards, snakes, and spiders, Ant urged Dean to step up his game.

“What happened yesterday? No stars. What happened the day before? You said I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here,” Ant told him.

Dean, feeling the pressure, responded, “I feel like I’m being told off by Ant and Dec.”

More Screams and Drama in the Trials

Dean’s third trial was a test of his limits. He had to perform experiments, facing creepy crawlies and dangerous creatures along the way.

In the first experiment, Dean successfully combined two liquids to create a chemical reaction, winning two stars for camp.

However, the moment he was submerged in fish guts, it was too much for him to handle.

Screaming, “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” he quit the trial early, failing to win any more stars.

After the trial, Ant didn’t mince words, expressing his frustration with Dean’s lack of effort.

“What the b***** h***, he only gets four stars and they pamper him. It’s not good is it, he literally got four out of ten!”

Ant’s exasperation was clear, especially after Dean had struggled during the “Down In The Drumps” trial the previous day, where he and GK Barry failed to secure any stars.

Viewers and Hosts Share Their Thoughts

The ongoing drama between Dean and Ant was a hot topic for viewers and fellow hosts alike.

On the spin-off show I’m A Celebrity Unpacked, host Joel Dommett commented on Dean’s performance, and Sam Thompson joked about Dean’s repeated screams.

“What is it like when he goes to the beach? I’ve never seen someone scream so much without touching anything,” Sam quipped.

Meanwhile, Ant reflected on the viewers’ frustrations as well, admitting to MailOnline, “A lot of people appear frustrated at Dean, well as frustrated as I was, but I felt I held it together pretty well.”

He also shared how much they missed Tony Bellew, who Ant felt would have excelled in these trials.

As the tension between Ant and Dean continues, fans are eagerly watching to see how the rest of the trials unfold.
