Amy Hart Takes Break from Love Island All Stars Podcast in the UK After Struggling with Illness for Three Weeks

Amy Hart, the popular host of Love Island: All Stars podcast, has made the difficult decision to take time off from her hosting duties due to an ongoing illness.

The 31-year-old, who gained fame during Love Island season five and was coupled up with Curtis Pritchard, revealed the news via her Instagram Story this week.

After struggling with a sickness for three weeks, Amy admitted she was finally stepping back from the podcast to focus on recovery.

A Tough Few Weeks for Amy

In her post, Amy shared how she had been “pushing through” for weeks, hoping her condition would improve, but she now realizes that rest is necessary for her to get better.

“I thought I was better for a bit on Monday, but on the way home, I felt my throat sore again.

Now I’ve got swollen glands, earache, and I’m constantly switching between sweating and shivering,” she explained.

Amy hopes that a good night’s sleep will help her return to work soon.

Just a few days earlier, Amy had updated fans on her health struggles, noting that she had spent much of January fighting off her illness while still hosting the podcast.

Despite feeling under the weather, she thanked listeners for their patience while she powered through.

“My Nan said to me, ‘You looked very unwell,’” Amy joked, adding that she was happy to be able to breathe better now.

Reconnecting with Curtis Pritchard

In a turn of events, Amy’s ex, Curtis Pritchard, has recently spoken about his relationship with her, reflecting on their past breakup during Love Island season five.

Curtis is currently in a new relationship with Cülcüloğlu on Love Island: All Stars, but he opened up to the press about the possibility of reconnecting with Amy after his time in the villa.

Curtis praised Amy for her success since leaving the show, saying, “Amy’s awesome! She’s smashing it with the podcast and all the work she’s doing, and now she’s got a kid. She’s rocking it.”

Curtis Reflects on Their Breakup

Although Curtis and Amy’s relationship ended in a dramatic breakup during the 2019 season of Love Island, Curtis defended his actions and explained that there was more to their split than viewers may have realized.

He recalled the infamous Casa Amor twist when he developed feelings for model Jourdan Riane, which led to a heated confrontation between him and Amy.

Curtis admitted that he didn’t get the chance to properly express his feelings to Amy at the time due to the restrictions of the Casa Amor twist, where islanders are separated and unable to communicate with their partners.

Reflecting on the breakup, Curtis said, “I think people forget that with Casa Amor, you can’t talk to your partner, and I wanted to tell Amy how I was feeling.

I didn’t have that chance, so there’s not much I can change or learn from it.”

Despite the past tension, Curtis seems open to rekindling a friendship with Amy, suggesting that they could even catch up over dinner once he leaves the villa.

Moving Forward with Supportive Words

Curtis also expressed his excitement about the potential reunion, calling it “a cool reunion,” and added, “It’s great to see Amy doing well.”

For her part, Amy is also focused on moving forward and taking care of herself.

Hopefully, with some rest, she’ll be back on track to continue her hosting duties soon.
