After reports of a ‘active shooter’ in the chemistry building, the University of North Carolina has gone into lockdown.UNC and local authorities issued a “be on the lookout for an armed and dangerous person” alert for the area around the university’s Caudill Labs.

The scanner recently picked up a Silver Nissan vehicle with the license plate number TJN-4072; police are trying to locate the driver.At least two people may have been killed.
