Their ideal property was a two or three-bedroom villa with ample outdoor space, and they were open to spending an additional £20,000 if necessary.
Unimpressed with the First Property: Laura’s Initial Offering Falls Short
Laura Hamilton, the show’s host, showcased the first property—a two-bedroom bungalow priced at £138,500. Despite its proximity to the sea, Carol and Mark deemed the property too small both inside and outside.
Carol promptly expressed her disapproval, stating, “No, it’s too small. This straight away is not going to work.” The couple declined to explore the rest of the property.
