Paramedics from Emer-G-Med arrived on the scene of a shooting on Anton Lembede Street.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that a man, said to be in his 30s, had suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg and was in critical condition.
Before being sent to a local hospital for more care, the guy was stabilized by paramedics trained in intermediate life support.
Although the South African Police Services were present and will be doing the proper investigation as a result, it is claimed that the man was wounded by a stray gunshot after an armed robbery in the neighborhood occurred.
