A political group in Nigeria, the Concerned All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Forum has drummed up support for the shift of the President of the country to the South – East of Nigeria.
The group while speaking to the media in Abuja through its Chairman Mr.
Suleiman Liba, endorsed the Governor of Ebonyi State as the suitable successor of President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023 general elections.
“The man’s antecedents of excellence speaks volume and his achievements in Ebonyi State are there for everyone to see” Liba explained.
According to the group, fairness and equity must come to be taken to play in determining who becomes the next president of Nigeria.
The group stated that “the north is ready for power to shift to the South and the Southeast in particular, but warned against money politics.
Suleiman Liba also, called on the party to ensure that internal party democracy is entrenched during the forthcoming National convention for better inclusiveness in the party.
“Our dear party, the All progressives congress APC must stick to the plan and ensure internal democracy since true democratic tenets entail that a few may have their say but the majority should have their way” Liba said.
