Woodford enjoys a sunny day with pals in his hideaway on a Devon beach.

Neil Woodford, the disgraced City tycoon, is soaking in the sun on a Devon beach, just as clients who lost money when his investment firm collapsed went to court in a desperate attempt to retrieve their money.

On the third anniversary of his Woodford Equity Income (WEI) fund — once valued at more than £10 billion – having its assets frozen, Woodford, 62, appeared carefree.

He spent the day with pals in South Devon’s Salcombe Harbour, only yards from his £6.3 million cliffside hideaway.

He strolled down to the lake to his boat after sitting on the patio of his opulent home, where two black Porsche sports cars and a Land Rover were parked.
