Global software investor Insight Partners has unveiled the 2026 class of its CIO Council, welcoming 17 Chief Information Officers from some of the world‘s leading enterprises into its executive leadership programme.

Now entering its fifth year, the initiative is designed to foster collaboration among senior technology executives by creating a platform where they can exchange ideas, evaluate emerging technology trends and discuss strategic business challenges alongside investors and software founders.

Programme Focuses on Technology Leadership and Innovation

The CIO Council runs over an 18-month period and provides participants with regular opportunities to engage with Insight Partners’ investment professionals, portfolio companies and an extensive network built through more than three decades of investing in software and artificial intelligence.

Members will participate in quarterly virtual discussions that examine key developments across cybersecurity, data management and artificial intelligence while gaining insights from the firm’s investment specialists and founders behind high-growth technology businesses.

The first virtual meeting for the 2026 cohort was held on June 2, 2026.

Broad Industry Representation Across Global Enterprises

The latest group reflects a wide cross-section of industries, including financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, industrial operations, consumer products, technology and themed entertainment.

Collectively, the organizations represented by this year’s council generate more than $800 billion in annual revenue, highlighting the programme’s reach among some of the world’s largest businesses.

Access to Enterprise Expertise Beyond the Council

In addition to structured peer discussions, members and their executive teams will benefit from Insight Partners for Enterprise, a dedicated division that works closely with selected Fortune 500 companies.

The group maintains more than 3,400 professional relationships spanning over 470 enterprises, helping connect technology leaders with industry experts, innovative software companies and peer communities through initiatives such as founder sessions, investor briefings and specialized networking events.

Programme to Examine the Future of Enterprise Technology

Throughout the programme, participants will explore how leading organizations are redesigning their data infrastructure and transforming decision-making processes to remain competitive.

The discussions will also focus on identifying the strategies adopted by the fastest-moving enterprises while providing members with Insight Partners’ perspective on the most promising investment opportunities emerging across enterprise technology.
