WHY THESE PLAYERS?

It’s become a regular feature. Kaizer Chiefs announcing breaking news on Twitter to confirm departing players in June.

As a sort of preview for the end of this season’s likely exits, we have looked at players who have made 10 or fewer appearances despite being fit and healthy to play.

Whether the club will decide to axe the players or the players will ask to be let go, it is of no use to keep footballers who do not play.

KAIZER CHIEFS’ MOST LIKELY DEPARTURES LIST

Check out the list of four below…

Sibusiso Mabiliso – Left Back

The former AmaZulu star has made only five appearances in all competitions this season. He could leave on mutual agreement or seek game time on loan elsewhere.

Kaizer Chiefs will remain with Sifiso Hlanti, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Happy Mashiane, and Reeve Frosler for options.

Kearyn Baccus – Central Midfielder

The 30-year-old star has only made five appearances for Amakhosi. It also has to be said that Baccus is currently afforded a golden opportunity to make an impression after Cole Alexandra’s injury. Will he grab it? The next few weeks will tell.

Lazarus Kambole – Forward

Here is one unfortunate player that fans dismissed very early on. The Zambia star is one of the least used players this season with just two games to his name.

Meanwhile, football has shown us that things can change very fast. One or two of these players could make a sudden turnaround as Kaizer Chiefs have 12 more league games to play.
