Vokna Declares Intent To Recontest Chairmanship Seat

The immediate past Chairman of Mubi North local government Council, Alhaji Sulerimaan Yahya Vokna has declared his intention to recontest for another term as Chairman in the fourthcoming Local election in Adamawa.

Already, the Chairmanship aspirants has submitted his nomination form for the position at the local government secretariat of the people’s Democratic Party PDP in Mubi.

Submitting his interest nomination form in Mubi, the former chairman said he decided to re-contest to enable him complete some of development projects he has started.

According to Him he started some viable projects when he was Chairman and finds it proper to recontest for him to serve the people better in line with the eleven point agenda of the Ahmadu Umaru fintiri administration

Alhaji Yahya Vokna observed that Governor Fintiri runs an all inclusive administration and called on Adamawa citizens to support the government for move meaningful development.

Receiving the nomination form of the aspirant, an Ex- officio of the party in the local government Hajiya Amina Isah assured Alhaji Yahya Vokna and other aspirants of fair playing ground by the party.

She advised people of the local government especially women and youths who are eligible to obtain voters card to register immediately to enable participate in the forth coming local government election.
