Lagos residents protest high PHCN (NEPA) bills in Orelope environment. They protested PHCN’s estimated bills for resident without prepaid meter.

It was gathered that Lagos residents without prepaid meter are billed on the high side by the officials of PHCN (NEPA).

One protester and landlord said he only has 1 television set and 1 fan in his home but monthly bill is as high as N30, 000 and above. He was lamenting “what am I using?”.

Many other residents, tenants and landlords alike have similar experience, story and question.

The PHCN officials as seen in the video couldn’t defend the accusations.
