According to Mirror, the rapper appeared to compare himself to the biblical figure Moses on his Instagram Stories on Sunday, September 18.

He wrote, in white letters on a black backdrop, “No one asked Moses how much he slept.”

He initially shared the material with an error before deleting it and publishing it again with the correction.

It follows the opening of Ye’s private school, which promises to “train the next generation of leaders, intellectuals, and innovators.”

The 45-year-old is believed to be behind Donda Academy, a Christian preparatory school that charges approximately $15,000 (almost R265 447 each year).

According to the institution’s website, it is situated in California and offers a “world-class education” that includes worship, scientific lectures, choir, and even parkour.

According to Rolling Stone magazine’s sources, families must sign non-disclosure agreements; however, a consultant for the school told the publication that only parents sign such a “informal agreement.”

The school’s website indicates that the daily curriculum includes “whole school worship,” basic classes in language arts, mathematics, and science, and “enrichment courses.”

It includes examples such as foreign language, visual art, movies, and choir. The athletic training discipline Parkour is also included in this category.

Despite creating an educational institution, the “Runaway,” the rapper stated that he dislikes reading books.

In an interview with the Alo Mind Full podcast, he clarified, “When you claimed I hadn’t read this book, I hadn’t actually read any book.”

“For me, reading is like eating Brussels sprouts. And conversing is comparable to eating Giorgio Baldi’s corn ravioli.”
