UAE, Cameroon accelerating sports cooperation programmes

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the UAE Football Association (UAEFA), met today here with the President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Samuel Eto’o, who is currently visiting the country, to discuss ways of enhancing channels of cooperation between the two federations.

The two sides reviewed football-related issues in Asia and Africa, and the prospects of sporting cooperation programmes in the future at the level of the national teams of both nations.

The meeting was attended by Hamid Ahmed Al Tayer, Board Member and Chairman of the UAEFA’s National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee.
