Trudeau blasted for performing Bohemian Rhapsody before Queen’s burial

Just two days before Queen Elizabeth II’s royal funeral, Justin Trudeau came under fire for being caught on camera performing a version of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

In an unscheduled performance in London’s opulent Corinthia Hotel, where suites start at $5,000, the Canadian Prime Minister sang the 1975 song as the UK and Commonwealth observed an official time of grief.

Trudeau, 50, was one of the many foreign leaders who flew to the UK to pay their respects to the Queen at her historic burial this morning and to meet King Charles III, the country’s new ruler.

In a laid-back maroon t-shirt, Trudeau was seen taking part in an impromptu sing-along with other members of his official Canadian delegation in the hotel lobby in the heart of London.

On Saturday night, it’s believed that Trudeau’s entourage and other guests joined in as Gregory Charles, a well-known gospel singer from Quebec, was playing the piano.

As he struck the notorious notes and sang the words, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau danced along with the other distinguished visitors. Little of both.

But on Saturday, Trudeau’s arrogant harmonizing with the pianist rapidly went viral online.

The group, which includes Sandra Oh of Killing Eve, attended a supper on Saturday evening before Britain’s most melancholy day in recent memory. It was then that the footage was captured.

The enlightened global leader has made a lot of gaffes, and this is only one of them. He has acknowledged donning blackface on many occasions, and he often finds himself in the heart of ethical scandals.

As a result of the newly discovered film, there has been outrage all around the globe. Many people have criticized the premiere for partaking in the celebrations just 48 hours before the Queen’s burial at Westminster Abbey. For 70 years, she presided over Canada as its leader.

At the age of 96, the adored monarch passed away at Scotland’s Balmoral Castle on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Just six months earlier, at an emotional audience at Windsor Castle, Trudeau was seen grabbing her hands and hailed her as “one of my favourite people in the world,” praising her in the process.

One enraged user who saw Trudeau’s amateur performance online wrote: “Curious as to how you can define this as paying honour to the life and service of Her Majesty?” because Queen’s song was being sung? That’s really crude,

Another enraged bystander chimed in, “Paying tribute? How deaf to tone do you have to be to believe this is a homage in any way? This situation is embarrassing.

A third person referred to the old theatre instructor and stated, “Singing intoxicated is a “tribute”?” Oh, how embarrassing. There is no evidence that the prime minister drank anything before playing the piano and singing on Saturday night.

Another criticized the Prime Minister for his behaviour in light of the situation surrounding his trip, saying that it was “totally improper given the circumstances and his position.”

A fifth said, “Trudeau definitely looks to be carrying a sad heart while he jokes about last night at a pub. I believed he was grieving.

However, some critics didn’t take offence at Trudeau’s behaviour since they thought that after more than a week of grief, it was acceptable for individuals who were sad to vent.

I see no problem, one compassionate individual said, while another added, “We are getting there.” I fail to see the significance.

Another person defended him by saying, “You’re just irritated by this because you don’t like Trudeau to begin with.”

During the evening at a non-official event and setting, there is nothing wrong with him singing and acting normally. Although he is the prime minister, he is not a machine.

According to the Prime Minister’s spokeswoman, “on Saturday evening, after supper, the Prime Minister attended a small meeting with members of the Canadian delegation, who had gathered to honor Her Majesty’s life and service.

The prime minister and other members of the group joined as famous Quebec musician and Order of Canada recipient Gregory Charles performed the piano in the hotel lobby.

“The Prime Minister has participated in different festivities over the last ten days to pay his respects to the Queen, and today, the whole delegation is taking part in the State Funeral,” the statement reads.

Since taking power in Canada in 2015, Trudeau has been embroiled in a number of controversies, including the discovery of pictures of him dressed in blackface.

After the 2001 picture of him with a brown face at an Arabian Nights party when he was a teacher surfaced, he issued a number of regrets. He also expressed regret for a high school event in which he sang the Jamaican classic Day-O while costumed as Harry Belafonte.

During the 2019 election, a video of him as a young guy wearing blackface also surfaced.

He is seen with a black face, extending his arms, sticking out his tongue, and wearing pants and a white t-shirt.

‘I should have known better then, but I didn’t, and I am truly sorry about it,’ he said at the time.

I made a mistake in doing it. I accept responsibility for it. It was a foolish move.

And in 2018, information about Trudeau’s alleged groping of a female reporter in 2000 at the Kokanee Summit in Creston, British Columbia, when he was 28 years old, was made public.

After the article arose again in 2018, the lady claimed: “The event alluded to in the editorial did occur, as stated.” The following day, Mr Trudeau did offer an apology. I didn’t look into the situation at the time, and I won’t look into it anymore. I did not speak with Mr Trudeau again after he was elected prime minister.

In the wake of the incident, Trudeau released a statement in which he said: “Over the last weeks, since this story broke, I have been reflecting, as have we all, on previous conduct.

“And as I’ve said, I’m convinced that I didn’t behave improperly, but I believe the heart of this is that individuals may perceive encounters differently, and part of the lesson we need to learn in this period of collective awakening is that people can experience interactions differently.” Women often have different experiences than males when it comes to relationships in social and professional settings.

In June 2020, Trudeau too found himself in trouble. The WE Charity will oversee a new award program for pupils who have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, the Canadian government stated.

Later it was discovered that Trudeau participated in the decision-making without exercising his right to abstain because of his personal links to WE.

At first, WE refuted claims that they sent money to Margaret Trudeau, Justin Trudeau’s mother, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, or Alexandre Trudeau.

Alexandre earned $32,000 for speaking at eight events, while Margaret received $250,000 for 28 speeches, it was subsequently uncovered.
