Monday, January 31, 2022 – Barely a week after Deputy President William Ruto of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula teamed up, it seems that infighting has begun.

This is after Sirisia Member of Parliament John Waluke, told Wetangula off over Bungoma county gubernatorial seat.

Waluke, who is a close ally of DP Ruto, asked Wetangula to stop imposing leaders on the people of Bungoma as they have got their capabilities to decide on who to vote for.

The Tangatanga MP stated that both Speaker of the Senate Kenneth Lusaka and Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati have been governors of the county but still there is no development.

He asked Wetangula not to endorse anybody and let the people of Bungoma County decide.

“Counties receive a lot of funds from the national treasury. But due to the high levels of deceit in our county, they have squandered all the money set aside for developments in constituencies.

“That is why Sirisia has no development project,” Waluke said.

“No one should direct residents to vote as a governor. I want to ask my good friend Wetangula to allow residents to choose the leaders they want,” Waluke added.
