Transportation Minister seeks public opinion on ministry’s performance

The Nigerian Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi has called for public opinion on the ministry’s performance.

Mr Amaechi who thanked President Muhammad Buhari for the opportunity to serve the nation as the Minister of Transportation said
“Our major focus as a ministry has been the revamping of dilapidated railway and moribund maritime sector which are key means of transportation and major sources of revenue respectively.

”
However, “we understand the need for appraisal and so desire to know from the citizenry how we have fared, being that we are accountable to you” he added.

He noted that the feedback on the performance of the Ministry thus far is important to evaluate where it has succeeded or is succeeding, where it needs improvement and or where it is failing or has failed.
